I was invited in to Reba Hair and Beauty to experience the ‘New Smooth’ Alexandria Professional Sugaring process with certified Alexandria Professional Karen Carroll. I decide to go for the whole hog and have the LA bikini, meaning everything off – front, back, sides and all those difficult to reach places.
I even had my very first vajacial! 🙂
What’s a vajacial, I hear you say? A vajacial is a facial for your vagina. It’s the answer to the ingrown hairs and red bumps that some women experience after a bikini wax, the vajacial is design to soothe and beautify the area. It really works my foof has never felt so soft.

What is sugaring?
Sugaring hair removal, is an ancient middle-eastern practice using an all natural paste or gel made from food-derived ingredients like sugar, water, and lemon juice to remove the hair follicle from the root. The results can last up to 6 weeks.
How Does it Work?
Using the hands the warm thick mixture is applied first in the opposite direction of hair growth. It’s then flicked off in the direction of hair growth. Alexandria Professional Sugaring Paste is all natural – it’s even edible! The sugar paste is very safe and skin friendly. Sugar does not stick to live skin cells. It actually works to exfoliate your skin by removing only the dead skin cells.
What’s involved?
1. Hair growth length should be 1/8 of an inch (for most people 2 weeks hair growth)
2. Sanitise the area.
3. The skin is then powdered to remove any moisture
4.You will be asked to help stretch and position your “parts” for the sugarist
5. After entire area has been sugared it’s time for your ‘vajacial’ this is when the Hungarian mud mask is applied to the sugared area
6. Hungarian mud is removed with cleansing pads
7. A sticky balm is then applied to entire area
8. Your vagina looks and feels amazing!
The cost for this treatment is €50 including the mud puddle vajacial.
The pure natural sugar “paste” is more effective, more sanitary and less painful than any other hair removal process I’ve undergone and the results are amazing – honestly my foof has never looked or felt so good!
Benefits of sugaring
It’s more hygienic than waxing – No double-dipping of the spatula!
Sugar will never burn the skin, as it is barely lukewarm; hot wax can burn and bruise the skin.
Large amounts of hair can be taken out at once, and finished faster than waxing. Unlike wax it doesn’t dry out.
Easy clean up. The paste is water soluble, meaning you can clean off any residue left on the skin with plain water, unlike regular wax.
Sugar paste can be applied over missed hairs. The paste is very gentle and can be put right over an area that was just sugared but missed some hairs, without fear of much irritation.
Sugar is a hypoallergenic natural healer of the skin; wax damages fine tissue cells.
Temporary results can turn into permanent. Over time, frequent sugaring can cause the hair follicle to become damaged, and stop growing hair.
