Before I jet off on holidays there are a few things I like to do in the beauty department. Nails, sugaring, hair, lashes, brows to name but a few. Pre-Florida prep included a visit to, Karen Daly, in Velvet Beauty for my monthly vajacial, brows which are totally on fleek and some fab new acyrlic claws. I can’t travel without a full set of fabulous nails – just sayin’.
Sugaring and Vajacial
Sugaring hair removal is an alternative to waxing (it’s better too). It not only removes the hair on the bikini area, but also permanently reduces hair growth. The sugaring process is followed by a fanny facial using Hungarian Mud Puddle.
Mud Puddle is an all-natural Hungarian mud, rich in essential minerals and collagen. This multi-purpose rejuvenating treatment helps with ingrown hair problems, treats facial blemishes and improves skin texture. You’ll be smoother than a baby’s bottom.
3D Brows
Karen created the perfect eyebrow shape with a number of grooming steps such as tinting, waxing, threading and tweezing.
Ombré Nails
Ombré patterns have been very popular over the past year or two. If it’s not ombré hair it’s ombré nails. I have to admit I’m still loving the ombré trend, so I went for a subtle glitter gradient and full glitter on my ring finger. It was either that of American flag nails for my hollier to the USA.
