As you may know, from time to time I like to switch things up with my wig. From luscious long extensions, Kylie Jenner green dye jobs to major chops, I love me a good hair makeover!
This week I sat down with hair stylists Sinead and Adrienne from Reba Reborn Hair and beauty, Ongar to discuss some potential new ‘dos. I brought a collecting of hair inspo photos to give the ladies an idea of what I wanted to achieve. Sinead and Adrienne were able to guide me to make the right and realistic hair transformation decision. Before knowing exactly what we could achieve in one day we first had to find out if my hair would lift (lift the pigment from the hair). Thankfully it lifted really well and we had a clean pallet to work with – happy days! 🙂
Here’s what we did.
1. Cleanse all of the hair
2. Cleanse the hair, but this time from below the root, focusing on the mid band section
Clean pallet
3. First apply pre colour to the section that will be tinted (Pre colour is your base coat)
4. Then tint the hair with 652/662 and a dash of 6/3
Peach Crazy Colour
5. At the basin apply red Crazy Colour over the tinted section and peach Crazy Colour over the ends of the hair – like a balayage effect
Before – out with the drab 🙁
After – in with the fab!
This is the first time I’ve EVER had red hair and I love my new shiny and sleek flame-haired look. The peach balayage adds the extra wow factor.
