I recently made a trip to Clare Island off the coast of Mayo, for an active weekend of hiking and snorkelling. Ireland has some of the best walking and hiking trails in the world but not always the best weather. It’s so unpredictable, you never know what sort of weather you’re going to get, so it’s always best to be prepared.
Luckily the sun was splitting the stones and there wasn’t a raindrop in sight the entire weekend, I still packed a raincoat – just in case!
As you may or obviously know, I’m a huge fan of Helly Hansen and their activewear and lifestyle wear, so I knew Helly would be the man for the job when it came to what to wear on Clare Island.
