Sugaring is a form of hair removal and is a great alternative to waxing. Compared to waxing, sugaring is an all-natural alternative that doesn’t require strips or dipping and is more sanitary. The paste adheres only to the hair and dead skin cells (unlike waxing which also removes live skin cells) it doesn’t pull on or irritate the skin, minimizing any redness or discomfort after treatment. The product helps to exfoliate the skin too.
4.Sugar Doesn’t Dry, Stick or Burn the Skin
When wax cools it can stick to your skin, unlike sugar which doesn’t dry out and can be removed without any problems. Excess wax has to be removed with either more wax or oil based products… while sugar residue, if any, can be removed with water.
Wax is applied warm, but sometimes overheated causing skin burn resulting in scabs or red marks. Sugar paste is never hot, it’s used lukewarm so there’s no chance of burning the skin.
5.The Results Last Longer
Wax can often break the hairs at the surface, while sugaring paste pulls the follicles from the root. This ensures that the hair will take longer to grow back. Over time, frequent sugaring can cause the hair follicle to become damaged, and stop growing hair. Most people see a reduction in hair regrowth in about 3-4 treatments, provided your sugar treatment is every 3 weeks.
